Privacy Policy

MegaWall is a professional one-wall handball league run by Handball House ("we," "us"), based in New York. Handball TV (streaming and media) and Handball Network (player profiles and registration) are Handball House brands. This policy covers themegawall.com and the league data it provides to MegaWall team websites.

• Visitors: you can browse without an account and without giving us your name or contact details. Like any website, each page request sends technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested) that our hosting provider logs for security and reliability. Loading our web fonts from Google Fonts also sends your IP address and browser details to Google.
• Contact form: name, email, and optionally phone, organization, interest type, your message, and how you heard about us.
• Captain applications: name, email, phone, city and state, proposed team name, experience, and optionally roster names and positions.
• Individual player interest: name, email, optionally phone, preferred position, and handball background.
• Athletes: name, nickname, team, position, match results and statistics, profile photo, and short bio.
• Supporters and partners: organization names, logos, and a short description of their support, shown on our Sponsors page.

A captain may list teammates' names and positions. Please get their permission first, and don't list anyone under 18. We only use roster details to review the application. Anyone listed can ask us to access or delete their information.

Athlete names, photos, positions, bios, statistics, and match results are public. This information appears on this site, on MegaWall team websites through our public league data feed, and in search engines. Photography and publicity releases for athletes are covered by separate written agreements, not by this policy. Form submissions are never made public.

• Run the league and publish teams, rosters, schedules, and results.
• Respond to inquiries and review team applications.
• Let authorized staff sign in and manage the site.
• Keep the site secure and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for targeted advertising. We only share it with:

• Service providers that host the website, database, and file storage, and deliver our email notifications, as needed to run the site.
• Google Fonts, which provides our typefaces. When a page loads, your browser requests the fonts from Google, and this shares your IP address with Google.
• Handball House staff who run MegaWall.
• Authorities, when the law requires it or when needed to protect people or our rights.

We don't use analytics, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels. The only browser storage we use keeps authorized staff signed in, and it's strictly necessary. That's why there's no cookie banner. Because we don't sell or share data for advertising, there's nothing to opt out of. We still honor Global Privacy Control and similar signals. If we ever add optional tracking, we'll ask for your consent first and update this policy.

Some match pages offer optional YouTube videos. Nothing from YouTube loads until you press play. Once you do, the video plays in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode and YouTube's own privacy policy applies.

• Form submissions and their email copies: kept while we respond or while a team relationship continues, then deleted when no longer needed. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.
• Public league records: kept as part of the league's historical record. Photos and bios can be removed on request.
• Staff accounts: kept until access is no longer needed.
• Technical logs: kept according to our hosting provider's standard schedule.

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or ask for a copy of it. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights, and we won't treat you differently for using them. Email handballhousetv@gmail.com. We may need to confirm your identity, and we'll respond within the time the law requires. We may keep some information where the law allows, such as official match results and statistics that are part of the league record, records we must keep by law, or information needed to resolve disputes. When we can't delete something, we'll tell you why.

Anyone can browse this site. It is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information (in line with COPPA). Our forms are for adults 18 and over. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian should contact us at handballhousetv@gmail.com, and we'll work with them directly. For New York users aged 13–17, we don't collect personal information online beyond what's strictly needed, and we never sell it or use it for advertising. If we learn we've received information from a minor without an adult's involvement, we'll delete it. Youth publicity and photo permissions, if any, are handled through separate guardian agreements.

We operate in the United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States or other countries.

If we update this policy, we'll change the effective date above and point out any major changes on the site.
